Coutts & Co makes senior appointment
Coutts & Co, the UK’s leading private bank, has appointed Gareth Edwards, local director at its Cardiff regional office, to the position of regional chairman.
The appointment recognises the role Gareth has played as local director for Coutts in Cardiff. He has worked closely with the team of private bankers in the Cardiff regional office to help raise awareness of Coutts’ wealth management services within the local community.
Robert Taylor, head of private banking at Coutts & Co, said: “I am delighted to announce Gareth’s appointment to the position of regional chairman. This is an important role for Coutts, requiring someone with a first-class reputation who has an impressive network of personal contacts. During his time as local director, Gareth has made a terrific impact, helping the local team to boost its business in Cardiff and throughout South Wales.”
Gareth Edwards commented: “Coutts is a strong brand with a fantastic reputation on a national level. I have very much enjoyed working with the team in Cardiff, and look forward to continuing to support them in my capacity as regional chairman.”
