Coutts London Jewellery Week
The capital’s first ever city-wide celebration of jewellery design
Coutts London Jewellery Week has been established in light of significant demand from both consumers and the jewellery industry itself. Based on work commissioned by the City Fringe Partnership, consultation with the industry and consumers has established definitively that London has both the desire and talent for the event.
The former Mayor, Ken Livingstone, is a wholehearted supporter of the event; "London has a long and established tradition of jewellery design as well as being a creative hotbed for new talent. Coutts London Jewellery Week is a great opportunity for Londoners and visitors alike to discover the wealth of creativity that exists in the capital. London is the world's most international city, with 300 languages spoken everyday. Its cultural offer is rich and diverse with many world class museums, galleries and theatres. Coutts London Jewellery Week will provide a welcomed addition, showcasing the diversity and quality of London’s designers."
An update to the Coutts Woman Coutts London Jewellery Week special is now live on the News section of www.couttswoman.com, where you can view a host of pictures from some of the top events from last week's Coutts London Jewellery Week.
Pictures include the launch party at Coutts a showcase of jewels at our city office in the Gherkin, Swarovski's Runway Rocks and the Burlington Arcade's Shoes and Jewels event.
