Coutts Bankline is an easy to use, secure online service providing you with access to your accounts from an internet enabled PC or Mac wherever you are and at a time convenient to you.

With Coutts Bankline you can:

• View your balances and transactions for sterling accounts (excluding money market deposits) real time
• Transfer money between these accounts
• View your balances and transactions for currency accounts held with us (last night's closing position only)
• Make single or bulk domestic payments
• View and cancel your standing order and direct debit instructions
• Order cheque books, paying in books and certificates of interest
• Import payment files and export account information
• Control your finances in a way that suits your business

Coutts understands that security is paramount and we use proven, industry-standard security measures like data encryption to protect your account details. Security Tokens, comprising of a smartcard and smartcard reader, control and protect your ability to make online payments. Combined with the use of passwords, PINs and user IDs, this protection means that your information remains confidential.

Future developments

Further releases are planned, which will allow you to:

• Transfer funds between sterling and currency accounts
• Make CHAPS payments
• Make Telegraphic Transfers
• Request bankers drafts
