Envestors Private Investor Club

Envestors Private Investor Club is a network of around 300 private individuals looking to invest between £20,000 and £2m in early-stage unquoted businesses, usually under the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS). Envestors offers investors screened investment opportunities in small companies seeking finance.

We recognise that a large majority of successful entrepreneurs are
interested in investing in young companies and when recognising the potential of a good business idea, hope to share their experiences and commercial insight, as well as realising a strong return on their
investment.

Our support of Envestors allows us to share their intellectual capital with our clients, through hosting seminars with advice for those looking to make Business Angel investments, to hosting 'Dragon's Den' style investment opportunities with small businesses looking for funding. Envestors provides our clients with a steady stream of high quality early stage companies requiring capital and mentoring, and access to the individuals looking to become the entrepreneurs of tomorrow.

The CBI / Real Business Growing Business Awards

"In tougher economic times, it pays to keep an eye on the longer-term, and plan for growth when the upturn comes. That`s why the Growing Business Awards is so important, helping to identify the next generation of business leaders, inspiring us with their ingenuity and skill, and giving us hope and confidence in the future."
Richard Lambert, Director-General, CBI

In recognition of the contribution that entrepreneurs make and to demonstrate our commitment to entrepreneurs of the future, Coutts is delighted to sponsor the Growing Business Awards under the category Entrepreneur of the Year.

This year the Awards will be hosted by The Rt Hon William Hague and will be held on Thursday November 27, at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square. The evening will be attended by some of the countries leading entrepreneurs.

The judges are looking for an individual with exceptional energy, vision and charisma, and whose achievements in the past 12 months have been significant - even by their own exacting standards.
